GREENS AND KALES
Mixed Salad Greens– The fantastic Allstar variety includes Green Oakleaf, Red Oakleaf, Green Romaine, Red Romaine, Lollo Rossa, and Redleaf lettuces.
Head Lettuce Varieties- To include Buttercrunch, Bibb, Romaine and the Salanova varieties.
Kale- We will be growing five varieties to consist of: Starbor, Redbor, Dwarf Blue Curled ,Tuscan, White and Siberian.
Spinach- (Bloomsdale) Dark green leaves with great flavor.
Arugula- A beautiful green salad lettuce that adds a touch of spice.
Napa / Chinese Cabbage- Great for salads or coleslaw. Not as tough as regular cabbage.
Boc Choy / Pak Choi- This is a type of Chinese cabbage that does not for a head. It is very tender with a mild flavor.
Swiss Chard- Bright Lights variety. Can be served raw with salads, braised or sauteed.
Green Cabbage- This cabbage variety will be available in Spring and Fall.
Brussel Sprouts- Available in the Spring and Fall/Winter
Broccoli- (Lieutenant)Available in the Spring and Fall/Winter
Cauliflower- Will be available in the fall only.
Turnip, Mustard and Collard Greens- A southern delicacy that now ranks up with Kale as being a super food in that they help lower cholesterol
Fennel- From the bulb to the stalk and the flowers, fennel is entirely edible with amazing health benefits.
